WHAT IF I GET SEASICK?
An ounce of prevention... Take OTC seasick medication the night before as well as the morning of your trip to avoid seasickness. Eating something before the trip is also encouraged; nothing like an empty stomach to bring on seasickness.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring what you want to eat and drink. Coolers are welcome and it's recommended that you bring more than enough snacks; crackers are helpful if you are prone to seasickness. Also, a camera, suncreen, hat and towel are important.
DON'T KNOW HOW TO FISH?
Capt. Mike is here to show you the ropes--no experience necessary.
Fishing is fun for all ages, and you can fish as little or as much as you want.
WHY CHARTER RATHER THAN A PARTY BOAT?
The charter boat provides more individualized fishing assistance and is usually only a few dollars more than the party boat. With fewer people fising, there is less chance you will spend a lot of time tangled with other anglers.
IS IT CUSTOMARY TO TIP THE CAPTAIN?
YES, he is there to make your fishing trip enjoyable by finding the fish, cutting bait, rigging lines, cleaning the deck, etc. If you have a great fishing trip, it is customary to show our appreciation with a tip.
